We suggested tooling our Gutenberg Publishing System® to model their catalog data and then flow their content to InDesign for an 80% completed page, thus providing PACCAR with the needed edge for finishing the publication while keeping staffing costs in check.
The product line catalog was a key component to a five-year sales initiative that included the consolidation of eight brands into one. What PACCAR Parts was looking for were solutions that would help them achieve their sales objectives without adding additional staff or other complications to an already labor intensive process. Outsourcing the catalog production wasn?t a new idea, but outsourcing technology was. With our expertise at both we were able to guide PACCAR Parts through the process and provide InDesign catalog pages in a short amount of time.
After delivering the digital files to PACCAR Parts, they were able to complete a series of internal proofs, make adjustments, and complete the product line catalog within tight deadlines.
